British Home Interior is written and maintained by Badreddine, based in the UK. This isn't a large editorial team — it's one person researching and testing real ideas for British homes, then writing up what actually works and what doesn't. See theAbout page for the full story.
How we research and write
Every guide is built around the reality of British housing: period terraces, rented flats, and tenancy restrictions that most home styling content (much of it American) simply doesn't account for. Prices and retailers are checked against UK sources — Dunelm, IKEA UK, Next Home, John Lewis, Wayfair UK, B&Q, Homebase, Amazon UK — rather than converted from US content.
We use AI-assisted tools to help with research, drafting, and editing efficiency. Every piece of advice, every price, and every product recommendation is reviewed by a human before publishing — nothing goes live unchecked.
Product recommendations
We recommend specific products because they're genuinely useful for British homes and rented flats, not because of a paid placement. If a post ever contains a sponsored product or affiliate link, it will be clearly disclosed at the top of that article. As of now, this site does not run affiliate links or sponsored content.
Corrections and updates
Prices, retailer stock, and product availability change. If you spot something outdated or incorrect, let us know — we update posts when we confirm an error, and note significant changes in the post's "last updated" date rather than silently editing published claims.
What we don't do
- We don't publish staged, unrealistic "after" photos we haven't actually recreated in a real UK home.
- We don't inflate prices or omit cheaper alternatives to make a paid product look better.
- We don't accept payment in exchange for a positive review.
